Online collections, after recieving the payment, refused to acknowlege reciept of payment on the account, and took well over 30 days to report that the debt had been paid to the credit agencies. After repeated calls to supervisors and getting nowhere, we gave up. You're better off not paying your debt to them and just waiting for it to disappear, as in most cases I understand, don't even show it has been paid. They just take payments and act like they don't owe you anything.
